Our Services
Allheart Dog Training Academy offers quality services and support to ensure that owner and dog are successful in both training and life. Personalised one on one training sessions are designed to meet the needs of both you and your dog. Training is personalized according to client’s goals and the behaviour of the dog. In-person or zoom training is available. The mission is to help owners gain the knowledge and skills necessary to build a trusting and respectful relationship with their dogs and have the tools available to handle every situation. Training helps build a relationship with your dog and ensures your dog is happy, balanced and confident.
Services offered are foundations and obedience training for all dogs, including rescues and puppies through to adult/senior dogs. Cathy also trains Rally obedience and preparation for competition and Canine Good Neighbor evaluation. Cooperative care principles are developed. Behaviour consultations and training are provided, for behaviours such as jumping, reactivity and resource guarding. Nose/scent training includes early discrimination, searching for familiar and unfamiliar scents (increasing in complexity), outside scent search, and introduction to man tracking.
Puppy training includes:
Management foundations
Puppy fundamentals ( Biting, House Training, Crate training, Jumping )
Introduction to obedience commands ( Sit, Down, Stay, Recall)
Home manners

Adult Dog training includes:
Obedience (Basic to Advanced)
Concept training
Boundary Training
Loose Leash Walking
Engagement/Disengagement training and strategies

All dog training is geared toward the learning of the family and the dog. Enrichment activities are included to ensure the dog is engaged and excited about learning. I help the owner(s) to create a “toolbox” of skills to deal with all types of situations.”
